Sportfishing Charters
Costa Rica offers a dream for anglers to fish the prolific waters off the central pacific. The billfish are in numbers and every day is a journey that could result in a grand slam. The main thing here is the current and when you get a good current pushing blue water and bait, you’ll get bites, period! Many charter boats here run 30’-36’ as you really don’t have to run that far. 15 to 20 mile runs to blue water is where the billfish action is found. LA CASA BLANCA is 25 minutes from Los Suenos Resort & Marina and 45 minutes to Quepos.We can make all the arrangements for your charter.
OFFSHORE:
SAILFISH: The main billfish species here with the best months from December through May. It’s not uncommon to release 5-10 per day. Sailfish here are twice the size of the Atlantic Sailfish.
MARLIN: Black, Blue and Striped Marlin run year round with the best months from January through September.
TUNA & DORADO: Tuna and Dorado are caught year round.
WAHOO: Random Wahoo caught year round as well.
INSHORE: ROOSTERFISH, SNAPPER, GROUPER, JACK,
CUBERA, SIERRA: Caught year round
